The home is a beacon of light for hundreds of visitors that queue up nightly to see the home that Foy, 47, and family have occupied the past five years. This year’s show includes 70 minutes of music with 20 different songs along with “every color possible” being displayed along with the music, he said.

The holiday display itself contains about 38,000 lights including 30,000 that Foy said can be controlled by a computer. Calling it “a theatrical performance of music and light,” the show lasts 35 minutes and includes 14 songs that play in the same order in a continuous loop. The yard of the Foy house in the 900 block of Ekman Drive in Batavia contains a number of displays for the holiday season. In all, there are about 38,000 lights used for the holiday light show.
